How to build our network??? this some tips which could help us to build our network.

Show up Early
Sometimes being in a room full of a hundred people who all seem to know each other already can make you feel like the poor guy left all alone without a group on none other than group day on “American Idol.” If you show up early, it is easier to get the networking started, so make sure to be that early bird!

Quality over Quantity
Don’t buzz around the room seeing how many business cards you can gather and don’t size people up on what their business card says either. Just because that one person doesn’t fit your needs right now doesn’t mean she doesn’t know someone else who might. If you float on, you’ll never know. Also, spending more time talking to one person means they’re more likely to remember you.

Follow Up

Because there is a chance that the previous rule has been abandoned by some, set yourself apart by following up with the people you meet either by phone or by email whether there is an immediate love connection or not.

Join the Loners
This one speaks for itself. Obviously it is much easier to start a conversation with someone standing uncomfortably alone rather than the group of people who look like they went to kindergarten together!

Lay off the Email
Building relationships is easier with either phone or face-to-face interaction. Even though it’s chatty, email is still impersonal or it is falsely personal at best.

Baby Steps
Set smaller goals and build up as your comfort zone increases. Every time I do some networking, I remember that I like it, that is, until I forget again. Set some weekly, monthly need quarterly goals. The more you do it, the more you’ll like it!

To Bring a Wing Man or Not to Bring a Wing Man
It seems that bringing one is a nice security blanket, but not having one makes you more approachable and forces you out of your shell faster. If you’re at baby steps, bring the wing woman, if you are a pro, you don’t need to be reading this.

Focus Your Attention
Again, if the goal is to build relationships, spending more time with one key organization beats running around like a chicken with a bunch! You’ll probably feel a lot more satisfied focusing your energy into one endeavor anyway.
Don’t Look Desperate: While everyone is networking with an agenda, the key is not to look like it. The people who really network well and enjoy it see it as a way to meet new people rather than a way to sell something, get a job, etc.

Ah, now I don’t feel so networking-challenged anymore. Bring on Toastmasters!
